In 5741, many English-speaking Anash and Bochurim sought to better understand the Rebbe’s Shabbos farbrengens. To address this need, Rabbi Zev Katz gathered about 100 people each Motzei Shabbos to deliver a synopsis in English. These talks were recorded and mailed worldwide. In Shevat 5743, Rabbi Katz wrote to the Rebbe: “I hope this brings the Rebbe nachas ruach.” The Rebbe added the word "Rav", showing it gave Him great pleasure. לזכות זאב יחזקאל הכהן בן מינדל
